By car the route is M74 onto the A9 trunk road, which runs from Dunblane through to Inverness.

Tulach Ard is located approximately 14 miles North of Aviemore.
If you intend to travel by train, Aviemore Rail Station, (home to Strathspey Railway) is approximately 14 miles south of Tulach Ard and serves as our nearest Train Station. Guests can either catch a bus or order a taxi from directly outside the station.
Aviemore Station is served by Scotrail and LNER (there are some limitations to the service at Aviemore, from Edinburgh and further South.
Our nearest airport, Inverness Airport, which is located just fifteen minutes drive from Inverness city centre on the A96. There is a drop off zone for all passengers within the Short Stay Car Park.
Car parking is free for the first 10 minutes to allow time to drop off passengers. The short stay parking is directly in front of the Terminal Building and Long Stay Parking is a five minute walk away from the Terminal Building.
Guests can make their own way to/from the Airport, with Tulach Ard located a mere 33 mile drive from Inverness Airport.
Inverness is a thriving and vibrant destination. Scottish Citylink operate a regular service from their Buchanan Street Bus Station in Glasgow – alighting at Aviemore, Cairngorm Hotel (North) and Aviemore, Police station lay-by (South). Guests travelling from further afield are recommended to check the website for further travel options.
